AI Invoice Processing for Zendesk
Turn every invoice into structured, actionable data the moment it hits your queue. When a ticket arrives with an invoice, purchase order, or financial document, the app reads the attachment and extracts key fields like vendor name, invoice number, line items, amounts, and due dates directly into your ticket fields. How it works
A ticket arrives with a PDF, image, or scanned document attached. The app detects the attachment, reads it using AI-powered OCR, identifies the relevant fields, and fills in your Zendesk ticket fields automatically. The agent opens the ticket and the data is already there.
What gets extracted

Installation Instructions
Install the app
- Click Install.
Select the Zendesk instance where you want to install the app.
Follow the redirection to your Zendesk admin area. Make sure you have admin rights.
- By default, the app is named AI Invoice Processing, but you can rename it. Decide if you want to enable role or group restrictions.
- Click Install again.
Access the app
- Go to your agent workspace. Click the four-square icon in the top right corner, then select Support.
Locate the app icon to the left, after the settings icon. If you have many applications installed, it may be hidden under the three dots in the lower left corner of your screen.
Click the three dots to continue.
Create an account
- On the settings page, go to Login.
- Create a new account or, if you are already a Knots customer, select Login.
